Hi, Just wanted to say the biggest thanks to you for the work you have put into this site and its genius recipes :D

I suffer from cfs and my wife suffers from Fibromyalgia, which robs us of a lot of our energy and zest with which to enjoy life to the full, especially with having young children.

We started a Ketogenic diet a little over a week ago and have found a DRAMATIC improvement in our health and energy, to the point that we can actually say for the first time in years, we feel well!

We have been pretty much living on a diet since the start of eggs, cheese, bacon, and leafy salad greens, along with copious amounts on good quality water, however we found ourselves scratching our heads a fair bit over new meal ideas for the long term.

Bam! Then we see this site and tbh I am blown away, at what is possible to make healthily and low carb for this lifestyle! The Dr Pepper recipe and cheescake fat bombs in particular made my wife very excited, and I am overwhelmed at the choice of meal plans we can now generate based, on the varied choice here (The turnip fries idea, genius!!!!)

A very heartfelt thanks to you, for giving ourselves and others the chance to follow this lifestyle for health improvement, while allowing us to have a very tasty menu to choose from, thankyou so much!!! :) :)

I found this site after clicking around on sites from an initial Google search of easy low-carb recipes. After reading your post (because it is far more detailed than just simple instructions) on Creamy Chicken with Green Onions I have to say that I am just absolutely excited to start trying more of your recipes! The pictures are so helpful, the writing is very detailed, and the notes at the end help ensure making the same recipe a few times in a row won’t become boring!

Do you have a low carb, gluten free gravy recipe that you mentioned with the Duchess Cauliflowers?

Hi Carmen! I usually make the brown gravy from ready, commercial base (demi-glace) which is basically made just from beef stock (no food additives, just bones, veggies and herbs) and reduced until thick. I add some salt and black pepper to season it. It’s simple but tasty.

I’ve been poking around on low carbs sites for weeks,I’m so glad i finally found u.I’ve been overwhelmed by recipes that have numerous weird ingredients and come out tasting horrorable.

Any ideas for a pie crust. Mine is 3 cups flour, 11/2 cup lard, 1 egg, 5 T water, drop vinegar. It is my recipe for 40 years. My husband is trying wheat free but would love an “apple pie” Thanks

Hi Linda, sorry for the late answer. I have done some pie crust experiments but unfortunately I don’t have any proper recipe which I would consider worth publishing. However, I’m working on one. What I have used often for apple pie is the simple crust for the Low-Carb Banoffee Pie (http://www.lowcarbsosimple.com/low-carb-banoffee-pie/): 6 tablespoons (85 g) butter (melted), 1 1/2 cup (360 ml) almond flour and 1/3 cup (80 ml) brown sugar substitute. You cannot roll out this dough, but rather press it firmly into the pan. One teaspoon vanilla extract makes a nice addition to apple pie crust.

Just wanted to say that I found your site yesterday and have already made three if your recipes! All were great and I especially love the lemon curd on the vanilla toffee cookies, which I made with vanilla stevia instead of toffee and they are awesome as well! So happy to find some easy and quick LC recipes for desserts. Most are complex and time consuming. Keep up the great work!
