If you have been dreaming of the ultimate keto chocolate frosting that is rich, decadently chocolaty and airy all at the same time, your dream has now come true. I was dreaming of this frosting for long — and finally took the time and effort to develop the supreme recipe that I used on the cupcakes I made for my birthday last Friday. (Yep, that’s why I hold the muffin with a candle in the photo!)

The Very Best Sugar-Free Vanilla Frosting
By now, you probably know that I’m all about the buttery frostings. That’s why I’ve posted so many recipes for them (like this butter frosting with an orangey variation, a marshmallow fluff frosting, this one with toasted pecans; and many more).
But sometimes I want to top my low-carb cakes and cupcakes with a frosting that’s slightly less buttery, but still rich and delicious. So I developed this super-velvety vanilla-flavored sugar-free frosting. It’s a tad lighter than regular buttercream frosting but still outstandingly rich. And it’s perfect for piping; just wait till you see these photos (and I’m not even a professional confectioner, I swear!)

Basic Butter Frosting and Orange Butter Frosting
These fat-filled luscious frostings are perfect for LCHF-style celebrations. These butter frostings are great for piping, making it easy to create gorgeous and delicious decorations on your low-carb cakes and cupcakes. Naturally, you can also use these scrumptious frostings as fillings, like I have done below with my whoopie pies.
You can easily create your own butter frosting variations by adding other flavorings, extracts or even powdered freeze-dried berries. For example, Sugar-Free Strawberry Jam works extremely well and makes a great frosting for example for the Valentine’s Day celebrations.
Moreover, these frostings are ready in a snap. No need to freeze or let them set. Just beat until fluffy and use immediately! You can store the leftover frosting in the fridge, but just remember to take it to room temperature at least half an hour before using.

Totally Terrific Toasted Pecan Butter
This Totally Terrific Toasted Pecan Butter is a perfect way to include some healthy fats in your LCHF diet. I created a new approach to prepare toasted pecan butter. Instead of brown sugar the butter is browned to get a delicious, nutty flavor. Pecans are also toasted — but not just boringly in a dry skillet or oven. No, they are toasted together in an ample amount of good old butter. Therefore the pecans will be crispy, buttery and toasted outside, and chewy inside. They’ll get a texture which is totally irresistible!
Combined with some more softened butter, sweetener, vanilla (and other spices, if you like), the result is beyond heavenly. This, you cannot resist!

Sugar-Free Chocolate Cheesecake Dip, Mousse, Frosting, Filling or Spread
Now we are talking about a versatile delicacy! First I dipped my low-carb cookies in this scrumptious sugar-free chocolate cheesecake dip, but then I realized that this treat works also perfectly as mousse. After that I filled my whoopie pies with it… and then spread it on a slice of almond flour bread. Oh mine, it couldn’t get any better! Or could it? Yes, it could: only 5 healthy ingredients and easy as pie!

Airy Strawberries and Cream Frosting
This sugar-free frosting is bursting with flavor of real strawberries. Unlike creamy and buttery frostings, this dreamy meringue-like frosting is airy and fluffy, not heavy. Real strawberries guarantee the authentic strawberry taste without anything artificial. Using freeze-dried strawberries makes also sure that the frosting doesn’t turn out watery, like it would with fresh strawberries.
This frosting is perfect for cakes and cupcakes. You can also make gelatin dessert — just spoon the mixture into dessert bowls and let set in the fridge for an hour or two. A perfect way to finish any tasty summer meal!

Tangy Greek Yogurt Frosting
It’s time for some fresh spring flavors. Here in Finland we still enjoy (not!) occasional heavy snowing, but nothing prevents from dreaming of sunny and warm spring days. And dreaming is much easier while spreading some of this tangy, sweet and sour spread on freshly-baked muffins. So great for breakfast… wakes you up! Or with afternoon coffee when in need for some energy.

Sugar-Free Irish Coffee Frosting for St. Paddy’s Day
Here is another exciting recipe for your sugar-free St. Patrick’s Day festivities. This is an adults-only delicacy, with a small but clearly noticeable boozy note. If you are not consuming alcohol at all, or would like to make a family-friendly version, there is a tip for that in the end of the post. Have fun and enjoy!
