In reply to <a href="https://www.lowcarbsosimple.com/recipe-from-my-new-cookbook-and-letter-from-a-reader/#comment-23692">Vanessa</a>.

Hi Vanessa, thank you for your comment and welcome to my blog! LCHF indeed is the best way to control diabetes.
When it comes to the crumb, I think it's too delicate for deep frying. I would recommend a mixture of almond flour and psyllium where you can add your preferred seasonings. Usually I use a mixture of 1 cup (240 ml) almond flour and 1 teaspoon psyllium husk powder for breading when I make schnitzel or deep fry something. Psyllium makes it hold better together.

I hope you find my recipes useful!

Can this crumb also be used on chicken or fish to make goujons?

Just discovered this site today and can't wait to try some of the recipes. As a newly-diagnosed Type 2 diabetic, even though I'm a healthy BMI, I'm trying to follow a LCHF diet (although I suspect at the moment I'm too high in protein and too low in fat) to control blood sugars rather than for weightloss. The inspiration here should be most helpful.
