Hi Elviira
This mud- mug cake looks like a great recipe.
Do you have any idea if it can work in a regular oven and if so, at what temperature and baking for how long would you suggest?
Thanks in advance

Yes, but you need more almond flour than coconut flour because almond flour doesn't absorb that much fluid. Maybe 1 tablespoon is good here.

In reply to <a href="https://www.lowcarbsosimple.com/chocolate-mud-cake-in-a-mug/#comment-53044">Wendy</a>.

Hi Wendy, the recipe recommends to serve this this mug cake immediately just because it tastes best when still warm, but maybe you can gently reheat it if there is a microwave oven available in the birthday party? Or is there a chance you can take the ingredients with you and prepare the mug cake in the party?

This sounds so delicious! I have a question...due to a type 2 diagnosis, I'm finding my way through the Keto jungle...it's been a happy and enlightening trip, so far! I have a family birthday party to attend this weekend and rather than miss out on cake (yum!!), I think this would be a great option for me. The recipe says to serve immediately...I was wondering if once cooled, will the cake become tough/dry? I suppose I could do a trial run or seven before the party and find out on my own...LOL. =)

Hi, they should work, too, just bake the cake a little longer. Or, you can use 2 teaspoons coconut flour. Hope it works!
